In 1985, Sime Darby Industrial Power Sdn. Bhd. (SDIP) formally known as Otofin Sdn. Bhd. was appointed as the sole agent for Perkins Industrial Engines in Malaysia. Perkins is the leading supplier of diesel engines in the 4-2000 kW market. Today, SDIP is the sole and authorize distributor of Perkins industrial and marine engines for the territory of Malaysia and Brunei. SDIP is also the provider of professional service support and genuine Powerparts parts for Perkins Engines.

Together with our packaging company, SDIP is also distributing and marketing Generator Sets and water pumps that are driven by Perkins Engines for our local and overseas markets.

Registration and Certification

·        Registration of JKR with the Perkins brand as one of the specific engine brands for government driven projects where JKR acts as consultant/project managers.

Location

The Head Office operation is located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam supporting our customers at Peninsular Malaysia and for International enquiries. For our East Malaysia customer, we have branches at Kuching and Kota Kinabalu to provide pre- and after sales support.
